Use the in-product report where possible

For an assigned photo or prompt, use Report so the correct content identifier is included automatically. A person whose image was uploaded without permission may report it even without an HonestTake account.

Email a formal notice

Email [email protected] with the subject “HonestTake content notice” and include:

1. Your name and email, unless the notice concerns suspected child sexual abuse material and identifying yourself is not required.
2. The exact URL, test/reference ID, account information, screenshot, date, or other detail sufficient to locate the content.
3. A sufficiently substantiated explanation of why the content is illegal, unsafe, non-consensual, or contrary to a specific Community Guidelines rule.
4. The country or law you believe is relevant, if known.
5. A statement that you believe in good faith that the information in the notice is accurate and complete.
6. Whether anybody faces an urgent safety risk.

Do not attach sensitive imagery unless it is necessary to locate and assess the report. Never redistribute suspected child sexual abuse material.

What happens next

We will acknowledge a sufficiently contactable notice, assess the identified content carefully and in a timely, objective and proportionate manner, and may request missing location or explanation details. We may remove or restrict content, preserve limited evidence, restrict an account, take no action, or refer a matter where legally required.

Where required, we will communicate the decision and available appeal route. We protect reporter identity and do not disclose it to the affected user unless necessary and lawful.

Appeal a decision

Reply to the decision or email the address above with “Appeal” and the reference number. Explain the error and include relevant new information. A different reviewer will assess it where practical. Unsupported restrictions will be reversed or narrowed without undue delay.

Notice and appeal data is used to investigate, protect people, comply with applicable law and defend legal rights. Access is restricted and retention depends on severity and legal necessity. See the Privacy Notice.
